A collection of time-perfected recipes and stories from grandmothers across the globe.
The Grand Dishes team is made up of an art director, photographer, videographer and writer. Creating content together about the older generation for the younger generation, from photo stories and interviews to short films and podcasts.
With the help of Leeds Indie Food, The Gallery and Café 164 have teamed up with Grand Dishes to show a carefully curated selection of images that capture the spirit of the Grand Dishes project in an exhibition setting.
Celebrating the wit and wisdom of grandmother, we invite you to come and be part of Grand Dishes project.

Event - Bread For Your Head
BREAD FOR YOUR HEAD
This event will take place on 18 May 2018
4.30pm – 7pm
A bread shaping demonstration looking at the mindful and therapeutic links between mental health and baking. Destress, decompress, and devote yourself to the silent, sensory, calming experience of hand shaping dough.
Welcome drinks and an introduction to our life in bread, followed by a demonstration of how to shape ciabatta loaves by our 164 bakers. Don some baking whites, and get stuck in crafting your own individual loaves; we’ll then bake off the bread and all participants can take home their wonderful creations to enjoy!
Funds raised from ticket sales donated to Leeds Mind charity.
Tickets are available from the Leeds Indie Food Website.
